Let’s explore mushrooms and sci-fi!
Fungal Fantasies is a fun 20-day daily exploration of lettering that’s inspired by sci-fi mushrooms! Each letter underwent a futuristic transformation, evolving into its own composition. With multiple design constraints on sizing, color palette, level of detail, and angle, all aspects combined to create unique lettering.
An alphabet that feels alive and ready to communicate in a language all its own!
During this journey, I attempted to push the boundaries of type by merging organic forms with digital glows. This allowed me to explore the combination of nature with that of technological themes, which was achieved by drawing inspiration from mushrooms that are known for their diverse shapes, colors, and intricate structures.
