Stanley; College self-care edition

Preparing for college courses and managing your education can be a stressful and busy time. With tight deadlines and packed schedules, it’s easy for students to forget the importance of self-care. That’s why Stanley is introducing a Morning-to-Night Stanley Routine, featuring your ultimate Stanley Bestie. This campaign highlights the importance of staying hydrated and prioritizing yourself amidst the chaos, reminding you to take care of your mind, body throughout your day.

Intentional.

As the art director and stylist for the campaign, I crafted a vision that merges functionality with inspiration. By incorporating lifestyle images that tell authentic stories, I ensured that each visual element resonates with the audience’s daily experiences. From cozy, light-filled morning shots to dynamic, on-the-go moments between classes, the imagery reflects the diverse rhythms of student life. The aesthetic combines soft, natural tones and vibrant accents, creating a visual language that feels fresh, approachable, and uplifting.

Process.

In addition to serving as the art director and stylist for the campaign, I took on key responsibilities to ensure the project’s creative execution. This included the selection of props for the entire set, carefully curating items that complemented the campaign’s narrative and aesthetic. Each prop was chosen with intention, enhancing the storytelling while maintaining a cohesive and relatable visual style. From the cozy elements of a morning routine to the functional and stylish details of a productive study session, every piece worked together to immerse viewers in the campaign’s lifestyle vision.

I also managed the dynamic lighting setup, crafting a visual atmosphere that reflected the progression of a student’s day—from soft, warm morning light to bold, focused tones for evening and late-night scenarios. The lighting was a critical element in capturing the mood and energy of each moment, enhancing the emotional connection to the campaign. By balancing natural and artificial light sources, I ensured the visuals felt authentic while maintaining a polished, professional look.

Additionally, I created a detailed pre-production (pre-pro) deck for the teams, serving as the blueprint for the entire campaign. The deck outlined the creative vision, shot lists, mood boards, lighting setups, and prop arrangements, providing clear direction and alignment across all departments. This document was instrumental in streamlining communication and ensuring that every aspect of the campaign—from styling to set design—met the intended creative and strategic goals.

These additional responsibilities allowed me to contribute to the campaign's success by uniting creativity, organization, and attention to detail, resulting in a visually compelling and meaningful narrative.
